Miss Moorpark competition opens

The Miss Moorpark Scholarship Foundation has announced the Miss Moorpark and Miss Teen Moorpark 2007 Scholarship Competition will be on Sat., March 10.

Contestant and parent orientation is scheduled for 7 p.m. Mon., Jan. 22 at the Community Christian Church, 216 Moorpark Ave. in Moorpark.

The competition is open to young ladies between the ages of 13 and 23. They must live or work in Moorpark or attend school in Moorpark for three months prior to the competition.

Applications are available at the Moorpark Chamber of Commerce, Moorpark High School and both Moorpark middle schools.
