Moorpark man co-opens funeral home in Camarillo

Robert Perez of Moorpark and Eric Rose of Simi Valley have established a familyownedandoperated funeral home in Camarillo, Rose-Perez Funeral Home and Cremation, which offers a full range of services.

"My goal is to assist the families and serve as a resource for them in their time of need when making funeral arrangements," said Perez. "I want to ensure that families have options when it comes to making funeral arrangements. It is my hope that the personal approach I take to working with families and conducting funeral arrangements will make the grieving process more comfortable for them and help (them) make the right decisions."

Rose has more than 15 years of experience in the funeral industry and owns Rose Family Funeral Home in Simi Valley. Perez has been in the industry for six years.

Rose and Perez established the Camarillo business as an alternative to the corporateowned funeral homes that dominate the Ventura County area.

"To help provide the "personal touch," Perez offers to come out to his clients' homes to make arrangements. "I feel that families are more comfortable in their own environment," said Perez.

Preplanned and atneed arrangements can be made at the facility's arrangement center at 266 Mobil Ave., Ste. 110, Camarillo.
