Moorpark man admits to abuse charges

Robert Young pleaded guilty to elder abuse charges just before his trial was to begin this week.

Young had been arrested in connection with elderly neglect after Moorpark police found his 80-year-old mother, Jane Edwards, dead on the floor of her home at the Via Del Arroyo Mobile Home Park in Moorpark last year.

Young be sentenced on March 7, according to court records.
