      A significant number of continuing students can no longer afford to attend Moorpark College. Textbooks cost more than $100 each. Although California community college tuition is the lowest in the nation, housing and gasoline prices are among the highest in the nation.

      The College Career Center of Moorpark High School is seeking organizations or individuals to dedicate or sponsor a scholarship for a loved one or business. Scholarships would go to eligible Moorpark High School seniors entering college this fall.
