FIRST CITY- Moorpark resident Susan Salmore gets a history lesson at Jamestown, Va., the first permanent English settlement in America. The village celebrates its 400th anniversary this year. BUCKETS OF WATER- Jason, Lexi, Carissa and Sheri Alikpala of Moorpark enjoy a family vacation at Niagara Falls in Canada. TOUCHDOWN- Brett Pozza of Moorpark hopes that someday his name will appear in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. Anna, his mom, submitted the photo. IN MEMORIAM- John, Patty and Drake Perdigao of Moorpark pay tribute to the 1,177 sailors killed on the USS Arizona during the attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on Dec. 7, 1941. TAKE A HIKE- The Mercado boys of Moorpark stroll the Rainbow Trail along Taylor Creek and South Lake Tahoe. They are Caleb, 10, Aaron, 8, and Matthew, 7 months. The older boys attend Flory Academy.
