Get ready to grill at cook-off
      The Moorpark Chamber of Commerce is seeking a sponsor for the Moorpark Festival and BBQ Rib Cook-off event slated to take place at Tierra Rejada Ranch from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sat., Sept. 8. Teams from throughout California will compete "grill to grill" with each other to see who has the best barbecue, according to Lisa Masotti, Chamber president.

      Holy Cross Catholic Church of Moorpark is seeking vendors for its 23rd annual Christmas Boutique scheduled for Sat., Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Sun., Nov. 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church's Cosgrove Center, 13955 Peach Hill Road.
