Between May 25 and 25, somebody vandalized a car in the 13600 block of Silver Oak Lane by pouring an unknown liquid substance over the exterior of the car, causing permanent damage.

The Target store in the 800 block of Los Angeles Avenue was the scene of a shoplifting incident on May 25.

Vandals spray-painted graffiti on the walls of the Waterstone Apartments in the 4700 block of Moorpark Avenue on May 23 or 24.

Check-cashing business Dinero Al Instante was hit with several counterfeit checks between April 30 and May 22. The business is in the first block of Park Lane.

Three area businesses located at or around the 700 block of Los Angeles Avenue- Leslie's Pool Supplies, Southern California Edison and Vision Wireless- were victims of felony vandalism on May 22. Vandals wrote gang-style graffiti with an unknown colored substance, causing more than $400 in damages.

Thieves entered the Rite-Aid store in the 3900 block of Spring Road on May 21 and stole two cases of beer.

On May 21, two known juveniles were arrested in Moorpark's Arroyo canal for gangrelated graffiti vandalism.

The Fountains Apartments in the 50 block of Majestic Street were vandalized with the gang graffiti of "RAGE," "007," "THC," "MPLS," "EVILS" and "TROOP," between May 18 and 21. The damage didn't exceed $400.

A business in the 400 block of Charles Street was vandalized and trespassed between May 19 and 21.

A business in the 5100 block of Goldman Avenue was burglarized between May 18 and 21.

Vandals applied graffiti to a concrete block wall in the 4300 block of Brookdale Lane on May 19. The wall is the property of the Peach Hill Homeowners Association.

During a call for service in the 600 block of Spring Road on May 26, a woman and a man displayed symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance and were taken into custody.

A man was arrested on May 26 in the 6400 block of Collins Drive for being under the influence of illegal drugs.

On May 26 in the 300 block of Sarah Avenue, a man was arrested for being drunk in public.

During a check on a man's wellbeing at his home on May 25 in the 100 block of Moorpark Avenue, the man was found to be under the influence of illegal drugs. A search produced a bindle of methamphetamine and two cut straws containing meth residue.

A man was stopped on the night of May 24 at the intersection of Moorpark Avenue and First Street for riding without a headlamp on his bike. The man was also found to be under the influence of a controlled substance and he was arrested.

During a battery call placed on May 17 in the 15700 block of Los Angeles Avenue, deputies found a female suspect to be under the influence of illegal drugs and she was arrested.
