Unhappy with cable 'service'
Your article regarding Time Warner's customer service problems has prompted me to make public a problem I had with them.
The company pulled a baitand-switch on me. They sent me advertising that represented standard high speed Internet as having a speed of 6 MBps. I still have the brochure. The telephone sales person for Time Warner agreed and I signed up.
I discover a few weeks ago that I was only getting service at 4 MBps. A phone call to customer service verified that they had changed the service to 4 MBps for all of Moorpark, without notice and without a reduction in price.
As my grandma used to say, something's fishy in Denmark. Steve Carr Moorpark
