School board changes meeting time to 7 p.m.

The Moorpark Unified School Board meetings will begin at 6 p.m. instead of 7 p.m.

“The meetings started at 6 p.m. for many years, but that was changed to accommodate a board member’s work schedule,” said District Superintendent Ellen Smith, indicating the later start time is no longer an issue for the board members.

The bi-monthly meetings will still take place on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at various school sites and at the district office board room.     The next regular meeting of the board of education will be at 6 p.m. Tues., Jan. 23 at the district office at 5297 Maureen Lane in Moorpark.
