Tearing down the house

OH, DEERE!—An long-standing eyesore across the street from the City Hall, on the corner of Walnut Canyon and Moorpark roads, is now rubble. Some citizens consider the old houses as historic, but the buildings were demolished last Thursday. Construction workers stated that they are clearing the way for a senior citizen housing development, but the property management company would not corroborate that statement.
