Christmas services at Harvest Foursquare

Harvest Foursquare Church invites the community to its 10:30 a.m. Sunday services this month. The church is at 11934 W. Los Angeles Ave., Moorpark.

The congregation will sing Christmas carols on Dec. 17. The Sherman String Quartet will present “Good Christian Men, Rejoice,” and Eric and Su Everettson will play a Christmas duet on guitar and flute. Pastors Rick and Laurie Sherman will speak on “Jesus, Still Today’s Miracle Worker.” Christmas cookies, doughnuts and hot chocolate will be served during greeting time.

The Christmas Eve service on Dec. 24 will include special music, string quartet, drama and candle lighting. The pastors will share the nativity narrative and a brief message, “O Come Let Us Adore Him.” All families attending will receive a small gift.

Assistant worship leader Robbie Oster will lead a worship concert on Dec. 31. The Sherman String Quartet will present an old hymn singalong. Pastor Rick will share his personal testimony, and a light brunch will be served to all attending.
