Van Dam thanks supporters

With the election count continuing in Ventura, I believe it is premature to claim a victory that has yet to be certified by the county. The race for the second City Council seat is separated by approximately 300 votes. Should the results change from Election Day, I would feel great remorse if I claimed a victory that was truly earned by another candidate.
