The Ventura County Air Pollution Control District is seeking two people interested in serving on i t s Hearing Board. Candidates for the position must be Ventura County residents.

The board conducts public hearings and makes decisions about air pollution sources in the county.

It meets Monday evenings on an as-needed basis, usually once or twice a month for one to two hours.

Members are paid $75 per meeting.

New members attend two two-day training classes.
