School board notes outstanding scholar

Dianne Bach, senior at the High School at Moorpark College and Simi Valley residentwas recognized by the Moorpark Unified School Board on Tuesday. The senior achieved 2,380 out of 2,400 points on her PSATThe National Merit Scholarship Program semifinalist came to the high school. She had attended Chaminade in the WesValley.

Dianne hopes to attend a top

ier college to study medicine next fall.

She is the daughter of Dat and Dieuly Nguyen Bach.

Dianne said she chose to attend the alternate high school because she can take college course, she enjoys the freethinking atmosphere and the fact that teachers are personally involved with the students.
