The High Street Arts Center will host The Magic of Performing Arts brunch on Sat., Nov. 18 from 8:45 to 11 a.m. at the Secret Garden Restaurant, 255 E. High St. in Moorpark.

During the event, magician Ivan Amodei will perform and Moorpark City Councilman Clint Harper will be honored for his support of performing arts and the theater.

The brunch is sponsored by The High Street Theater Founda

tion. Proceeds from the event will go to supporting the arts, the theater and children's theater workshops of Moorpark.

The High Street Theater Foundation is dedicated to offering quality performance arts programs for youth and families and to nurture, challenge and educate participants and audiences to build a close and creative community in Moorpark.
