Regarding your guest opinon in last week's edition "Keep criminals in prisons, not in neighborhoods," besides keeping prisoners in prisons, Assemblymember Audra Strickland's comments remind us about the grossly high price of gas and why we Californians must obtain more fuel efficient cars.

When the rubber meets the road, there's another action we can take against the recordbreaking profiteering of oil companies and gas guzzling vehicles.
