Someone loitering in the park on Los Angeles Avenue was arrested for possession of a switchblade knife and being under the influence of a controlled substance on Aug. 4.
During a routine probation search done on Aug. 5 on Millard Street, someone was cited for being under the influence of a controlled stimulant.
Someone was cited Aug. 6 when he failed to produce a vendor's license while doing business on Los Angeles Avenue. He was also arrested for possession of and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
A husband and wife were arrested on Aug. 6 for operating a methamphetamine lab in their residence on Marquette Street. They were charged with being under the influence of the drug and having possession of related drug paraphernalia. The couple was also charged with child endangerment.
During a call for service at the Starbucks on Los Angeles Avenue on Aug. 6, an officer arrested someone for driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
Someone committed petty theft on Aug. 7, stealing items from an unlocked car on Colibri Court.
A domestic battery occurred on Griffith Court on Aug. 7 when two suspects poured beer over a victim's head, then followed by crushing the can on the victim's head. The perpetrators then ran away from the investigating officers.
A resident on Shasta Avenue was arrested for a probation violation while in the process of being served a warrant on Aug. 7.
An unlicensed male driver was arrested on Aug. 7 for driving over the center median in front of the Chevron gas station on the east side of Spring Street.
Deputies responding to a call could not enter the roadway to a private property because a driver blocked the road with a vehicle on Aug. 10. Officers then discovered the driver was unlicensed.
During a routine probation search conducted on Roberts Avenue on Aug. 11, an arrest resulted when deputies discovered someone to be in possession of methamphetamine and a meth pipe.
A probation search of a residence on Sierra Avenue resulted in the discovery of a controlled substance and a meth pipe on Aug. 12. The male resident of the home resisted arrest, but was subdued.
Someone committed a seconddegree commercial burglary at Tech Circle on Aug. 13. The perpetrators forced open the front door of the business and removed a large safe containing between $200,000 and $300,000.
A residential burglary took place on Aug. 19 on North Amherst Street. Someone entered the home and stole items of an unspecified value.
