ALL-STAR PERFORMANCES-Moorpark Girls Softball's 2006 All-Star season is in full swing. The league has six All-Star teams with girls ranging in age from 8 to 14 years old competing in fast-pitch softball tournaments. The Moorpark U-14 Gold, pictured above, took first place in the Camarillo Tournament. League teams also captured second place honors in the U-8 and U-10 divisions in the same tournament. Furthermore, the U-8 Gold team won the Big Bear Valley Mountain Top Shoot Out held June 9 through 11. Moorpark Girls Softball will be hosting the District All-Star Tournament at Arroyo Vista Park the weekend of June 23 to 25.
