Seniors invited to college info night
With high school graduation rapidly approaching, Moorpark College is hoping to reach high school seniors have not yet decided on an educational path, as well as those who have already chosen Moorpark College.
The college will host a Parent's Night information session at 5:30 p.m. Tues., May 9 in
the Library/Learning Resources building on the campus. Refreshments will be provided and parking will be free.
Topics to be discussed include: an overview of the application and registration processes, financial aid and other support services, and the college's educational programs,
including degree, career, certificate and transfer paths. Time will be allowed for questions and answers.
"Moorpark College is able to provide an educational package that cannot be matched by any other institution of higher learning. This package consists of dedicated teachers, low cost, small class size, and transferability of course work," said Executive Vice President Dr. Pam Eddinger.
Moorpark College ranks near the top for transfers to the UC and CSU systems. The college offers more than 1,000 courses in 100 majors and tuition is $26 per unit.
