In celebration of Israel Independence Day, Wendy Lewis of Learn Israel will show an informative PowerPoint presentation, "Israel: Small Country, Big Ideas" tonight, Fri., April 28 at Congregation B'Nai Emet, 4645 Industrial St., Ste. 2C, Simi Valley.

Lewis will speak on cuttingedge innovations from Israel in

the fields of technology, advanced medicine, security and humanitarian aid.

The program will begin with the traditional Shabbat service at 8 p.m. led by Rabbi Michele Paskow and Cantor Michael Russ.
