Math Festival at Flory Academy

Who among us has fond memories of their algebra teacher? Very few of us do, and that is why the math whizzes at Flory Academy of Sciences and Technology, 240 Flory Ave., are holding a fun math festival from 6 to 8 p.m. Thurs., Jan. 27 to which all Moorpark families are invited.

Earlier that day, all Flory students from kindergarten through fifth grade will have a chance to experience mathematics in a fun and innovative fashion. During the evening event, kids’ math-phobic parents will have the chance to experience the same fun approach to math in the school’s multipurpose room. Attendees do not have to be from Flory Academy families.
