Assisted Home Hospice has announced that Charles Pankratz, MD, has joined its hospice medical team as associate medical director in Ventura County.

Pankratz received his doctor of medicine degree from the University of California at Davis. His internship and residency were completed at Harbor UCLA 1996 through 1999, where he was chief resident from 1999 through 2000. He’s board certified in internal medicine.

Prior to his acceptance of the new position with Assisted Home Hospice, Pankratz worked with the organization as its team physician while employed with the Buena Ventura Medical Group.

Pankratz will continue providing medically indicated patient visits for hospice patients, act as a resource to all referring physicians if requested, and provide expert advice on pain and symptom management challenges, as well as consultative services to assess prognosis and hospice eligibility.
