Two Ryobi cordless saws, a gas chainsaw, a cordless drill, a toolbox with assorted tools, two children’s wet suits and two life vests were reported stolen. The loss was estimated at $1,300.

May 17. Between 5 p.m. on May 14 and 7 a.m. on May 17, someone broke into a storage bin in the 9000 block of Vista Anacapa Road. A Hitachi chipping hammer and Bosch impact drill were reported stolen. The loss was estimated at $600.

In a separate incident at the same address, a Roll-air and Emglo electric air compressors were reported stolen. The loss was estimated at $1,100.

May 16. At about 10 p.m., someone smashed a car window in the 300 block of High Street. Damages were estimated at $350.

May 15. Between 1:30 p.m. on May 14 and 8:30 a.m. on May 15, a vandal spray painted graffiti on the front fence of a residence in the 13200 block of Peach Hill Road.

May 14. Between midnight and 1 a.m., someone attempted to steal a car in the 15000 block of Varsity Court by removing the steering column.

May 14. Between 4:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., someone vandalized a car at the North end of Bennett Road in Simi Valley. The vandal broke the transmission neutral switch and removed the speedometer sensor from the transmission housing. Damages were estimated at $460.

May 12. Between 3:15 and 3:45 p.m., a thief stole a red BMX bicycle from a garage in the 12400 block of Willow Grove Court. The loss was estimated at $160.87.
