Homestore extends partnership with MSN

Westlake Village-based Homestore Inc. (NASDAQ: HOMS), an Internet real estate company, extended its relationship with Microsoft Corp. last week. The company’s Realtor.com, the official Website of the National Association of Realtors, will now exclusively provide all integrated home listings and other realtor directory content to the House and Home channel on the MSN network.

More than 4 million people visit MSN House and Home every month, according to Homestore officials.

The Homestore Website lists about 1 million properties, according to Homestore officials. Those properties will be available on MSN before the end of the first quarter.

Homestore will share revenue from newly available advertising positions with MSN, sources said. "With its extensive home listings and realtor directory, Realtor.com was an obvious choice for rich vertical content to power the ‘Buying A Home’ portion of our House & Home channel," said Lisa Gurry, MSN group product manager.
