CLU men’s soccer players named all-SCIAC

Three Cal Lutheran men’s soccer players were named to All-SCIAC teams for their performance this season. Seniors Havard Aschim (Trondheim, Norway) and Dean Klipfel (Merced) both received First Team All-SCIAC honors. Aschim led the Kingsmen in scoring with 10 goals and finished second is assists with 3 for a team-leading 23 points on the season. He was also named First Team All-SCIAC in the 2000 and 2002 seasons. Klipfel ended the season with six goals , with two of them proving to be the game-winning goals against SCIAC opponents La Verne, played Oct. 1, and Caltech, played Nov. 5. Junior Greg Allen (Henderson, NV) was named to the All-SCIAC Second Team. The midfielder stared 18 games, and recorded one goal and one assist for the Kingsmen.
