Sept. 24. A female driver was stopped at High and Walnut streets at about 12:45 p.m. because her two small passengers, both under three years old, were not in child car seats. It was determined that the woman was driving without a license. She was cited and released. The vehicle was impounded.

Sept. 24. Two witnesses observed an incident of shoplifting at about 2:30 p.m. in the 100 block of W. Los Angeles Ave. A female suspect was arrested at about 2:55 p.m. The woman was transported to the East Valley station and charged with commercial burglary.

Sept. 23. A female driver was stopped for speeding at Pecan Ave. and Campus Park at about 1 p.m. It was determined that her license had been suspended. The woman was cited and released. Her vehicle was towed.

Sept. 22. A Winnetka man was arrested in connection with a forgery that was reported to occur July 19. Sept. 18. A Van Nuys woman was arrested in connection with the same crime. Both were booked at the main jail in Ventura. The victim, a Moorpark woman, reported that her signature was falsified to endorse checks. The checks were deposited in a Thousand Oaks bank on Moorpark Rd.

Sept. 22. An incident of vandalism was reported to occur at about 10:30 p.m. in the 4400 block of Skyglen Ct. Three of the four tires on a car had been punctured.

Sept. 21. A Moorpark woman was the fifth person to be arrested in connection with an incident of forgery and elder abuse. She was booked at the main jail in Ventura. The victim, a 74-year-old Moorpark woman, reported that her checks were stolen on Sept. 4. The suspects attempted to pass the checks at multiple locations in Simi Valley and Moorpark.
